    Description

    LuK Clutch Disc (Friction Plate)

Genuine LuK clutch disc engineered to OE specifications for smooth, chatter-free engagement and reliable torque transfer. Precision hub damping and high-quality friction facings help restore factory drivability and reduce vibration.

    What It Does

    • Transmits engine torque to the gearbox while allowing smooth take-up
    • Dampens torsional vibrations to protect the drivetrain
    • Works with the pressure plate and flywheel as part of the clutch system

    Key Features

    • OE-matched diameter, thickness and spline profile for correct fit
    • High-friction, asbestos-free facings for stable, fade-resistant performance
    • Precision-balanced disc to minimise noise and vibration
    • Rigid or sprung hub according to the original design
    • Manufactured by LuK (Schaeffler), a leading OE clutch supplier

    Variants (Check Your Application)

    • Rigid hub: typically used with a Dual-Mass Flywheel (DMF)
    • Sprung hub: typically used with a Solid Flywheel (SMF) or conversion kits
    • Facings: standard organic or heavy-duty formulations depending on OE spec

    Check Before You Buy

    • Disc diameter and thickness
    • Spline count and hub type (rigid vs. sprung)
    • Flywheel type (DMF vs. SMF / conversion)
    • Engine and gearbox codes; some models change spec mid-production
    • Verify by VIN/registration and LuK/OE part numbers for guaranteed fit

    When to Replace

    • Clutch slip under load (rising RPM without matching acceleration)
    • Judder, grab, or harsh engagement from standstill
    • Rivets close to the surface or visible wear/thermal cracking
    • Oil contamination from crank or gearbox seals

    Installation Notes

    • Best practice: replace as part of a complete LuK clutch kit (pressure plate + disc + release unit)
    • Inspect flywheel (run-out, heat spots, DMF freeplay) and replace if out of spec
    • Use an alignment tool; tighten cover bolts evenly in a criss-cross pattern to OE torque
    • Keep friction surfaces clean; do not contaminate with grease or oil
    • If applicable, renew release bearing/CSC and bleed hydraulics thoroughly

Sold individually unless stated. Contents may vary by application—always read the specific part listing.

Warranty: LuK clutch components are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty when supplied via authorised distributors. Warranty validity may require proof of correct installation and that related components (flywheel, hydraulics) are within specification.

    FAQ

You can enter your Vehicle Registration Number on our homepage or manually select your vehicle details. We will then filter the parts that match your vehicle. Always double-check the Product Properties section to confirm correct fitment.

Yes! We’re constantly expanding our product range and catalog. If you can’t find the part you’re looking for, please contact us. We work with several manufacturers and may be able to source the part for you.

Many product pages include a Fitment Details tab with additional information. If you still have questions, feel free to use our message service — we’re happy to help.

Parts do not come with additional items like fitting kits or gaskets unless it is clearly specified in the Part Details section of the product page.

Brake Discs: Most standard brake discs are priced individually, but for safety reasons, they must be purchased in pairs. When required, we will automatically set the quantity to 2 in your basket.
Brake Pads: These are sold as a set (either front or rear), so one box is enough for two discs.

The Compatibility Table can be found on each product page, usually below the main product description. Look for a tab or heading labeled Compatibility.
