    Description

    LuK Flywheel Bolts

Genuine LuK flywheel bolts designed to meet OE specifications for strength, fit, and reliability. Correct fasteners are essential to secure the flywheel to the crankshaft, ensuring safe power transfer and preventing vibration or loosening under high load.

    Purpose

    • Secure the flywheel (DMF or SMF) to the engine crankshaft
    • Maintain correct torque and clamping force under repeated thermal and torsional stresses
    • Prevent rotational movement and maintain engine-to-gearbox alignment

    Key Features

    • OE-matched thread, length, and head profile for your specific application
    • Manufactured from high-tensile steel for maximum strength
    • Surface-treated for corrosion resistance
    • Supplied as a matched set to ensure even load distribution

    Check Before You Buy

    • Thread size, pitch, and length — match exactly to OE specification
    • Whether your application uses torque-to-yield (stretch) bolts — these must not be reused
    • Confirm quantity required (typically 6, 8, or 10 bolts per flywheel)
    • Verify fitment by VIN/registration and LuK/OE part number

    When to Replace

    • Every time the flywheel is removed (if torque-to-yield type)
    • If bolts show signs of stretching, thread damage, or corrosion
    • When upgrading or changing between DMF and SMF systems

    Installation Notes

    • Always install in the correct sequence (usually a star/criss-cross pattern)
    • Torque to the manufacturer’s specification — often in stages with an angle-tighten final step
    • Clean crankshaft flange and threads; avoid oil/grease contamination unless specified
    • Use new bolts for torque-to-yield applications — reusing can cause failure
    • Confirm correct alignment dowels or pins are present before tightening

Warranty: LuK fasteners are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty when supplied via authorised distributors. Warranty may require proof of correct installation with torque and angle settings followed precisely.

    FAQ

You can enter your Vehicle Registration Number on our homepage or manually select your vehicle details. We will then filter the parts that match your vehicle. Always double-check the Product Properties section to confirm correct fitment.

Yes! We’re constantly expanding our product range and catalog. If you can’t find the part you’re looking for, please contact us. We work with several manufacturers and may be able to source the part for you.

Many product pages include a Fitment Details tab with additional information. If you still have questions, feel free to use our message service — we’re happy to help.

Parts do not come with additional items like fitting kits or gaskets unless it is clearly specified in the Part Details section of the product page.

Brake Discs: Most standard brake discs are priced individually, but for safety reasons, they must be purchased in pairs. When required, we will automatically set the quantity to 2 in your basket.
Brake Pads: These are sold as a set (either front or rear), so one box is enough for two discs.

The Compatibility Table can be found on each product page, usually below the main product description. Look for a tab or heading labeled Compatibility.
